Home > The Work We Do

Our Family Services Department coordinates all new home construction and home repair applications. In addition, it offers a wide array of supportive services designed to assist families on their journey to homeownership. From financial literacy education to foreclosure intervention, we take a comprehensive approach to assure that families are not only prepared for homeownership, but also equipped to succeed financially. Our programs are available to Habitat Partner Families and members of the communities we serve.

Apply for a New Home

Almost Heaven Habitat for Humanity is able to make homeownership a reality for families with limited financial resources that typically would not otherwise qualify for a loan to build a new home. All of the houses that we build are sold at NO PROFIT and NO INTEREST (0%). Contact Us >

Financial Peace University

A Christian principled, dynamic, life-changing program teaches you how to make the right decisions with your money. Each of the 13 lessons deals with a different topic that will enable you to take charge of your money, including: how to save money, live on a budget, communicate with your spouse about money, eliminate debt, avoid credit scams and find bargains. This series of classes is taught by DVD and small group discussion using a curriculum developed by Dave Ramsey, a nationally syndicated radio talk show host. This series of classes is open to the public and free of charge (other than the purchase of a Membership Kit). The series is offered twice per year and pre-registration is required. Partial Scholarships are available to low-income families for the purchase of the Membership Kit. Contact Us >
